Jolene Geary, Assistant Director/Instructor

Jolene has been clogging since 2001. She is a member of the Black Hills in Motion Cloggers Adult Performance team and has been an instructor since 2012. Before joining BHM, Jolene directed her own group in South Dakota. Jolene has traveled with the BHM adult competition team to Wyoming to compete in the Bighorn Mountain Clogging Showdown and the America Onstage clogging competition in Utah. Most recently, Jolene performed onstage at Disneyland Amusement Park in California with BHM performance teams.

Melinda Stone, Instructor

Melinda began her dance career in tap class at the age of three and continued dance through high school. It was in college when she first tried clogging and fell in love with the percussive rhythms. She joined the BHM Adult Performance team in 2014 and became an instructor in 2018. Melinda is excited to teach in the BHMC Studios, but one of her favorite places to lead is in her kitchen at home where she enjoys embarrassing her two teenage sons.
